In an article published in The New YorkerDr. Dhruv Khullar, the Center’s director, and an associate professor of population health sciences at Weill Cornell Medical College, navigates readers through the complexities of the U.S. health care system. He highlights the gamification and corporatization of medicine that have left many patients, providers, and caregivers struggling.

Dr. Khullar delved further into these topics in an interview with Major Garrett, CBS News’ chief Washington correspondent. He was also interviewed by Emily Silverman, MD, host of The Nocturnists podcast, where they discussed the health and economic implications of medicine’s “Gilded Age.”
